This morning.....

Morning All!









So today my day starts out very good..up @ 6 something in the A.M, kids up, coffee making, clothes ready to be ironed, blah blah. My youngest Tyler had said to me last night upon going to his room & hugging me good night, "Mom, can you wake me up early.." I'm like sure honey I always do, 7am... he says "no, I mean like EARLY early, like 6am..." he's standing there with his hands on his hips doing this goofy look that he does. I wake him up at 6:30a, he actually comes crawling into my room & bed at about oh.... 7:25... LOL, I say to him, & you wanted me to wake you up at six! He smiles.


This was also a first morning in a very long time that my daughter, got up without any arguement, actually said "I love you" to within the first 5min.(she's 13 going on 20), & when she asked for my "savvey" fashion advice she actually took it! WOW, LOL, what an amazing morning. After that, it was a laugh fest filled with news reports via my husband & his motodroid phone & I'm guessing TMZ or Special Edition or whatever the names of those celeb-reporting venues are; on 1: Elizabeth Taylor dying, I though wow its about time....then the saddness set in;


2: the new twitt-face trend set, 13yr old Rebecca Black & her "hit" video song, I think its called Friday! This young lady has one of the most mono-toned voices since....well, I don't know but, yeah, great? Not so much. So we asked our daughter Chantel what she thought of the girl....she's never heard of her??? Whaaa??

That opens the teasing door for dad...whole other story ;-)....


Sooo, once again, for the 4 or 5th time(also hearing several parodies already on youtube) we play the "Friday" song for her to hear, thinking she may like it since they're talking for some CRAZY reason of comparing the young Rebecca Black to the infamous Justin Bieber... "OMGEEEEE!!! She looks like Yasmeine!", was the first response, then came the judgement; "WOW, this is soooo friggin stupid! This song is lame, who is this girl, she's not even pretty is she mom?" What the hell do I know, she a little girl for cryin' out loud....I mean, to me, can they ever really be ugly? Awkward maybe. So I say well she's not drop dead gorgeous honey, but she's not ugly either...LOL.


Phew, nice save don't cha think? Stay neutral, but decisive with a teenage girl, I think I've learned that lesson & trick well.



It's now about 7:45a, the boys are ready for school, except the oldest(lucky him they say, he's home-schooled) & my daughter who spends WAY too much time in front of the mirror doing I'm not really sure because I never see what the problem is. See, they have to leave by 8:30a or so to make it to school on time walking..So, with my husband, myself & Chantel which make 3 butts in a 2 butt kitchen area, trying to get lunches & breakfast (mines usually just coffee) makes it a bit frustrating, time's ticking away & here comes Pj to announce the neighbors are taking their dog in for chemotherapy AND that Tylers juice pack has just exploded in his lunch bag/backpack.....8:27a....now there is 4 out of 6 of us in my kitchen scrambling about, if I could have video taped it, from the outside with music, it might have been a graceful dance of hands passing about, shifting & shuffling from one thing to another....but, then I woke up out of the minute of daydreaming where there WAS no music & instead a reality of hurled insults and demands and stiffled yelps from the youngest because big sister was smacking his hands so she could grab first......
